A small family of three requested the redesign of an outdated bathroom on the second level of a story book Tudor Style home with Art Deco interior elements. A visually compatible roof expansion of one of the existing dormers allowed for the enlargement of the existing bathroom to accommodate a soaking tub with separate shower unit with custom glass enclosure. The redesign created a more efficient use of the space and functionality. The custom tile creates a visually interesting interior hinting towards circulation paths while adding a variety of textures surfaces and colors.  The use of energy efficient steel windows and textured glass for privacy allows light to fill the space while keeping with the aesthetics of the existing house style.
