HOLLYWOOD COLOR LABORATORIES

Teich
Woodmere, NY
1969

The clients, owners of Hollywood Color Laboratories, required that the existing building, set back beyond the line of all the other commercial buildings on the street appear to be in line with the rest. A wall was designed to reflect the activity in each part of the street line of the building; a arch and gate to the drive which serviced the film developing, a rectangle opening to the offices for the lab, and a main opening and a round circle to provide access and attraction to the film and camera shop. C. Allen Mullins designed The logo and blister pack which held Kodak film. Also designed was the developing service mailer which was used at stores throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
