New York City, NY
1979

This 1841 building was purchased by the architect and a partner in late 1976. Six town houses were built from Perry Street to West 11th Street. In about 1920, two houses at the corner of West 11th Street were combined creating one building with one stairway. The house was occupied as a rooming house. Through the years the building became apartments and by 1976 it was in need of rebuilding. C. Allen Mullins acted as architect and construction manager at that time creating and rebuilding a 5-unit apartment building. During the renovations efforts were made on exterior and interior to save many of historic details. In 1979, Architect Mullins received the Association of Village Homeowners for his consideration and efforts.
