The clients Cindy Veazy and Peter Brouwer desired to combine the kitchen with the adjacent dining room in the 1920 house in Yonkers, New York. Each of them being wonderful cooks wanted to make their efforts in the kitchen part of the family and social events. The wall between the two rooms was removed and replaced with cabinets and fixed counter top which provided for a gathering spot for family and friends.
